Another (non) update from Kildare county Council as featured in Rose’s report. What’s that song that the Boomtown rats used to sing…Banana Republic. Bring back Alan Dukes….
The village looks brilliant with all the flags and bunting decked out for the GAA. Blends very well with all the autumnal colours that we have at the moment.

The Breener had a great winner in Listowel last month when his 7 year old , Show Blessed, got up in some style in a Novice Chase. A copybook ride from Joe Cullen made sure of the pot for the syndicate at a decent price of 20/1. Fr.Sean was also featured in the Sunday World when his syndicate paid a good few quid for a lot in the Goff’s Millions Sale.

We had a visit from big brother Bill during the last fortnight. Together with his wife Alish, sister in-law Rosie, both O’Neills from Annelecky, and his son Conor they spent a weekend in and around Ballymore. Bill asks to be remembered to all his friends.

Travelled to Croke Park with young son to view the Germans. We went more in hope than expectation following recent pitch exploits by all national teams. We had a pleasant surprise as it was an entertaining evening and walking abck into town it was like mini Berlin. The visitors would not even cross the road against a red light. So law abiding.

Just a couple of phots of the Fashion Show Fundraiser organised by 5th Class students of Scoil Mhuire in the main Mairead Byrne, Ciara Langan, Finnuala O’Connor,Kiva Sammon and Lauryn McNamara.Well done to all.
